Available in 12 languages, this video shows all you need to know about the steelmaking process in ArcelorMittal: from extracting raw materials to producing our end products, which are used in some of the most advanced applications in the world.
In the 1870s, Scottish-American industrialist Andrew Carnegie called steelmaking “the eighth wonder of the world” and – almost 150 years on - we at ArcelorMittal couldn’t agree more. Our steel is at the heart of the modern world, forming the fabric of life from railways, to cars, to washing machines, to iconic towers and sculptures.
While the history of steelmaking dates back two centuries, the methods used to produce steel continue to evolve in order to continuously meet customer requirements.
