VAMA, a joint venture of ArcelorMittal, has recently been recognised with three customer awards from leading automotive OEMs and tier-one suppliers in China, highlighting its strong partnerships and technical capabilities in the automotive steel market.
In 2025 and early 2026, VAMA received customer awards from Ningbo Huaxiang Group (NBHX), Benteler, and Changan Ford, reflecting recognition across different segments of the automotive value chain.
At the NBHX Supplier Conference in September 2025, VAMA was awarded the Strategic Cooperation Award, recognising its performance in product quality, supply reliability, and technical collaboration.
In January 2026, VAMA was named 2025 Best Strategic Cooperation Supplier at the Benteler Strategic Supplier Summit, acknowledging close collaboration in advanced high-strength steel development and new automotive applications.
VAMA was also awarded 2025 Excellent Supplier at Changan Ford’s 2026 Annual Supply Chain Partners Conference, reaffirming the long-term partnership established in 2018.
