Everton Guimarães Negresiolo

Everton Guimarães Negresiolo, Vice President of ArcelorMittal and chief executive officer Brazil Long steel is appointed chief executive officer, Long LATAM and mining Brazil, effective 1 April 2025. Everton will also become a member of the group management committee. He succeeds Jefferson De Paula who will retire. Everton reports to Aditya Mittal, Chief Executive Officer of ArcelorMittal.

Background

Everton joined the group in 2010, as a commercial specialist in the Brazilian operations, working on import of heavy sections and structural products. In 2011 he became ArcelorMittal Projects manager, responsible for the implementation of a welded pipe unit and in 2013 he was appointed purchasing manager. Everton was initially responsible for local purchasing and warehouses, then for the corporate services and logistics purchasing. In 2015 he became head of local purchasing and warehousing of ArcelorMittal Brazil, then head of corporate purchasing in 2016. In 2017 he took up the role of Long Carbon sales manager of the Brazilian south region. From 2018 to 2020, Everton was supply chain and sales planning director of Acindar in Argentina prior to his appointment as chief executive officer of Acindar in September 2020.

Since April 2023, Everton has served as commercial and metallics vice president Long Carbon Brazil and he was appointed chief executive officer Brazil Long steel in June 2024. Everton is a graduate in mechanical engineering with a specialization in production management. He holds an MBA from the Fundação Dom Cabral, Brazil.
